I noticed the same thing too! Both the Canadian Marshalls and Winners are carrying the USA-boxed Monster High dolls! I got Dance Class Howleen and Swim Class Lala for $20 each (which in Canada, is sadly a good price).
As far as I know, the Swim Class line hasn’t even been released in Canada yet, and the non-international packaging is a plus!
I live in the GTA; I found Monster High dolls in the Ancaster Winners and Hamilton Marshalls.

I just got her a week ago! She was owned by a kid before I got her, so she’s missing some of her accessories, but I’m just really happy to have her!
I’ve been a fan of Monster High since day one. I remember just before the dolls officially hit shelves for the first time, I read an article in the paper about their up-coming release, and I was like “ermahgerd”
That same day, my sister, cousin and I were hanging out and they mentioned that they had read the article too! So we all decided that when the dolls were released in stores, we’d buy each other one as a gift to start each other’s collections. My cousin Juliana got basic Frankie, my sister Alayna got basic Lagoona, and I got basic Draculaura.
Out of the three of us, I’m the most obsessed. My collection is taking over my room! lol
I watch the webisodes and movies, but I’ve never read the books. My sister read the first one, but she wasn’t that big on it, so I never bothered to read it.
Whoa, I’m talking too much. This is literally me when people ask me about Monster High:

I have 70 Monster High dolls at the moment, and my collection is almost complete.
I just need a Howleen, Jinafire, Gil, Holt, Hoodude, and a real Scarah, and then I will have at least one of every character. I also kinda want to get all the Wave 1 dolls eventually.
