I read your post and I just wanted to say that I think Benedict Cumberbatch is ugly too. You aren't alone! And what's even worse is that people ship him and Hiddleston. It's disgusting.
I wouldn’t say he’s ugly…but I don’t think he’s attractive either. If he was actually dating Tom Hiddleston, that would be cool, but since they’re not dating, or even gay (as far as I know), that’s a weird ship to me. No chance of ever happening; that’s why I don’t get shippers.
If you like canon, you're in the wrong place. Tumblr is about creativity. The Avengers fandom is a sea of fanon. So hang on tight and good luck.

I know that there’s a ton of fanfiction on tumblr. I certainly don’t like it, being a student of literature I feel very loyal to the author. But despite the fanfiction, I really love other aspects of tumblr, so I’ll just put up with it! :]

Seriously tumblr, I love you and all, and this new friendship that we’re embarking on is really great - I’m not trying to cause problems or anything - but there’s just some stuff I’ve got to get off my chest.
I’ve noticed a lot of Loki lately. I’m just fine with that, it makes sense, with all the deserved hype that Avengers is getting, of course there’s going to be a lot of Loki posts. I like Loki.
But I don’t like the shippers. You know what I do like? Canon. I like canon relationships and I like when people just go with the author’s original intentions.
Basically what I’m trying to say is I CAN’T TAKE THE THORKI. It just doesn’t make any sense! ENOUGH WITH IT. They’re brothers for Odinssake! I know - not biological brothers - but it doesn’t make any sense. Thor loves Jane (and later Sif), Loki loves himself (and sometimes Sigyn). Thor and Loki are usually at each other throats. The only time they love each other is through some strained brotherly love. Where does the Thorki even come from!? It’s like Marvel blasphemy.
Another thing that’s concerning me, tumblr, is this Benedict Cumberbatch fellow. I understand why fangirls love Loki. I too, think he’s attractive. I can understand why fangirls love David Tennant. I’m not attracted to him, but I can understand why others are. But I do not understand Benedict Cumberbatch. I could understand if people like him as an actor, but based on looks, I’m just not getting it :S
I’m sorry fangirls, it’s just an (unpopular) opinion.

If you don’t like my costume, fine, it’s your opinion (although, in my opinion, it’s pretty accurate), but why did you go out of your way to tell me? That’s pretty mean.
I just want you to know something: you are the very first person on tumblr, facebook, formspring or anything like that to write something mean to me. I hope you think about that before you post something nasty to someone else. Out of all the people on the internet that I’ve ever encountered, only YOU were mean-spirited enough to go out of your way to try and make me feel poorly about myself.
